Keep it Local for Mother's Day

Mother's Day is coming on Sunday, May 9th. Treat that hard workin momma to something special. Consider keeping it local (and easy) this Mother's Day and pick up something made on our island. Here are a few ideas: grab a mason jar arrangement (made daily and ready for pick up) from Tiger Lily Florist on Camp Road. Order a curated gift box from the onlne local boutique, Local Love CHS. All of their products are made by Charleston artisans. Choose a box that is already assembled or pick out items to go in a unique box. If you like to shop in person, stop into the Charleston Flower Market located in the Terrace Theatre shopping center. They also have lovely flowers, plus a nice selection of gifts. If you lady is really needing some TLC, a gift certificate to a spa cannot be beat. These are easy to pick up at Urban Nirvana - just a little out of James Island;) Or if the mother in your life really just wants some quality family time, pack it up and head to Meggett County Park. This out of the way park is quiet and peaceful and you can bring that pooch, too.
