Charleston County School District Update, fall 2020 school opening


Based on a Post & Courier article, alternating school days, staggered schedules and floating teachers are all possibilities the Charleston County School district is considering as it plans to reopen schools this fall.  Some decisions depend upon guidance from the S.C. Department of Education and funding approved by the S.C. Legislature.  However, CCSD Superintendent Gerrita Postlewait, hopes to have a finalized draft of recommendations ready by July 10 or at the very latest July 24.  For the latest updates, please go to:
